In France, the Federation of Private Hospitalization (FHP) has called on private sector health establishments to go on “total strike” from June 3 to save their establishments.
This decision follows government announcements on 2024 prices. The government plans a 0.3% increase in the prices of private establishments, while public hospitals will benefit from a 4.3% increase. The FHP denounces this situation, affirming that charges are increasing exponentially while prices remain insufficient to ensure viable management of establishments. Private clinics and hospitals, which represent 35% of hospital activity, are today threatened by these political decisions. Three private clinic giants also asked the government to review its copy.
The FHP expresses its desire to file all possible legal recourses to restore fairness.
