Intense itching, pain, recurring infections, lack of sleep, stress, shame… more than 2.5 million French people of all ages are affected by eczema.
A visible and conspicuous condition This chronic skin condition "eats away" at patients, physically and psychologically, 24/7. A visible and conspicuous condition, the victim of numerous prejudices, eczema dictates the lives of patients who must moisturize their skin daily, follow their anti-inflammatory treatments, and adapt their activities each day according to their skin's condition.
A day of information and sharing To mark the 9th National Eczema Day, the French Eczema Association is organizing an information and experience-sharing day on Saturday, June 3rd, for patients, doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals to raise awareness of the reality of the condition in all its forms.
Research Advances This day will also provide an opportunity to inform doctors and patients about research advances, give patients tools to understand and manage the disease with expert advice, discover helpful techniques, and combat discouragement and isolation so that we can be stronger together.
