A batch of Auchan turkey sold in tray form has been the subject of a recall for several days. The product could potentially be contaminated with listeria.
Only one batch is affected by the recall: these are one-kilo trays of turkey marketed by the Pouce brand, sold in all Auchan stores located in mainland France between January 16 and 28.
If you still have this product in your home, throw it away or destroy it. You can also return it to the store for a refund. The recall and refund procedure will end on February 21, 2024.
As a reminder, listeria is responsible for listeriosis, a disease with an incubation period of up to eight weeks. It can be serious, especially for vulnerable people. If you experience symptoms such as fever, headache or body aches, seek medical attention promptly, reporting suspicious consumption.
