Since Monday, the Carrefour brand has started a massive recall of frozen spinach branches. According to the Rappel Conso website, this recall is due to the possibility of finding insects and larvae in the product.
These spinach, from the Carrefour Bio brand, are packaged in 600 gram bags and are part of lot L23320-LN06. They were sold throughout France between December 8 and January 19. The barcode of the recalled product is 3270190207368 and the minimum durability date is November 16, 2025.
The government website recommends that people who have products from this lot not use them, due to risks of contamination, putrefaction, deterioration or decomposition.
People who have purchased this product are advised not to consume it. They can obtain a refund by returning the product to the store before March 19, the end date of the recall procedure.
To answer consumers' questions, a contact number has been set up: 08 05 90 00 24 (Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
