The government site Rappel Conso has reported an urgent recall of nearly thirty references of yogurts mainly sold in pots in France, due to the potential presence of glass in these products. The recall announcement was made on Wednesday February 22 and Thursday February 23.
The government site has identified a "fragility of the top of the pot" which could cause a "risk of intrusion of foreign bodies" in the form of glass into these yogurts. The brands affected include La Laitière and products from the U, Auchan, Casino and Cora brands. All of these products were on shelves between February 1 and February 22, 2023, with use-by dates at the end of February as well as the first three weeks of March.
The recall concerns several French distributors, including Aldi, Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Cora, France Frais, Franprix, Intermarché, Jamy, Lidl, Leader Price, Leclerc, Match, Metro, Monoprix, Norma, Schiever, SCPF, Sedifrais, Spar, U system, Vibel and Vival.
The products concerned are available on this page
