Introduced in France and a few other European countries in 2018, the Nutri-Score nutritional labeling system will be updated, to now better take into account saturated fat, salt and sugar levels in its rating.
Downgraded frozen meals
So, for example, fatty fish and wholemeal bread will get better results, while red meat, nuts and seeds will get worse results. In addition, certain dishes to be reheated and certain frozen pizzas will no longer have a green rating (A or B).
Available at the end of the year
These changes, not yet finalized for drinks, should appear on our shelves at the end of 2022. A sufficiently long period will be given to operators to allow the implementation of the logo, specified the Ministry of Health.
