As summer approaches, 60 million consumers tested the effectiveness of a flagship product for all those who dream of the perfect body: slimming creams.
Objectives far from concrete results
These cosmetics, which have been on the market for many years, promise a reduction in thigh circumference, sometimes two or three centimeters, and even a reduction in cellulite, in just a few weeks. However, the results of the test conducted by 60 million consumers are clear: the users of the 9 creams on the test bench only pointed out the major gaps between the objectives displayed on the packaging and the effects actually observed. Whether after 15 days or after a month of use, the thigh loop did not melt as advertised.
A part of effectiveness in the massage itself?
From an ingredient point of view, the creams on the market are barely changing and the only active ingredient with relatively proven effectiveness remains caffeine. This tends to indicate that the other ingredients are more of a massage aid. The improvements in the condition of the skin and the slight reduction in fatty deposits that can sometimes be observed could in fact be mainly due to simply massaging regularly.
