Following Auchan and Leclerc, Carrefour, Monoprix, and U are also recalling several growing-up milks sold in France. According to Rappel Conso, these products have an unusual odor and taste.
At Carrefour, the recall concerns "My Baby Bio Croissance Nature" milk (batch 26245PC). Monoprix is also withdrawing its "Croissance Nature BIO" milk with the same batch number. Finally, the U chain is recalling "Croissance DHA 10 months to 3 years" milk from the U Tout Petits Bio range, for batches 26208PC and 26245PC.
Tests revealed an abnormal odor and a fishy taste. Authorities specify, however, that these defects do not pose any health risks to young children.
As a precaution, consumers are advised to stop using these products and return them to the store or discard them. A refund will be issued for the affected products.
For any further information, customers can contact the customer service departments of the brands concerned.
