The World Health Organization is sounding the alarm. According to the WHO, nearly a quarter of adults suffer from obesity in Europe, making it the second most affected region in the world after America. She urgently calls for decisions and laws to fight against this rapidly expanding scourge in all regions of the 53 states.
Overweight and obesity are the cause of more than 1.2 million deaths per year due to the diseases they cause. Remember that to calculate your body mass index, you must take your weight divided by your height, squared. So, with a result between 25 and 30, we are overweight, and above 30, we are obese!
